| Carol Briskin is an international teacher of
transformational bodywork, and the founding director of
Song of Life Energy Programs, a professional certification
training approved by the American Polarity Therapy
Association. She became a wellness educator in 1983 and
has been in private practice for 26 years, integrating her
knowledge of polarity, cranio-sacral work, reflexology,
trauma resolution, therapeutic dialogue and radical
healing for the creation of deep and abundant health. In
1993 she began training other therapists in this work and
has taught in eleven cities and two continents. A
presenter at both state and national conferences, Carol’s
passion is seeing people free their bodies of old
limitations and then free their lives of the same. |

What is transformational bodywork? |
|
Transformational Bodywork is a series of hands-on techniques
designed to create connections between the tension patterns
of the body (whether it’s chronic stress or a pervasive
feeling of numbness) to the unresolved experiences that gave
rise to them. Whenever we are unable to meet a challenge in
our lives, the unexpressed energy of that challenge is held
in our musculature. By freeing the musculoskeletal system
of chronic, frozen stress, we are restored to our natural
health, natural aliveness, and our capacity to be resilient
in the face of life’s demands. |

What does Song of Life Energy Programs Offer? |
|
Song of Life offers a series of classes and workshops
designed to empower participants in the principles of
achieving optimum health through conscious alignment with
spirit. Two offerings are available - a professional
certification track sponsored by the American Polarity
Therapy Association, and 1 or 2 day workshops designed for
lay people. The certification track is for people
interested in, or already involved in the field of holistic
health. The weekend workshops are for the
general community and are designed to teach people to
unwind, heal and return to their innate aliveness. |
